Job summary

911 Staffing Ltd is recruiting a Sales Advisor for a well established automotive parts dealership in Swindon. The role offers a permanent position with a salary of 35K per annum and weekday hours from 8:00 to 17:30, plus alternate Saturday mornings 8:00-12:30.

No prior automotive experience is required as training will be provided; the successful candidate will bring a positive attitude and drive to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming enquiries via telephone and email (pricing, stock availability, delivery times).
• Assist customers who visit the trade counter to make enquiries and place/collect orders.
• Maintain existing customer relationships and develop new ones using effective sales techniques.
• Process customer parts orders with accuracy and keep them updated.
• Contribute to a positive team performance to optimise sales.
• Develop knowledge of products to be able to assist customers effectively.

We are currently recruiting for a Sales Advisor to join a well established automotive parts dealership in the Swindon area.

About the Sales Advisor role:

• Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am-5:30pm + alternate Saturday mornings, 8am-12:30pm
• Salary is 35K per annum
• Permanent role
• Swindon based - easily accessible by public transport

Duties for the Sales Advisor role:

• Working as part of the Sales Team you will answer incoming enquiries via telephone / email i.e. pricing, stock availability, delivery times etc
• Assist customers who visit the trade counter in person to make enquiries and place / collect orders
• Maintain existing customer relationships & develop new relationships applying effective sales techniques
• Process customer parts orders with accuracy and keep them updated
• Contribute to a positive team performance to optimise sales
• Develop knowledge of products to be able to assist customers effectively

Skills / Experience required for the Sales Advisor role:

• Excellent customer service experience, with the ability to maintain / build relationships is essential
• Able to work well as part of a busy team to deliver results

• IT skills - ability to work work with various systems & Microsoft office
• Have resillience to deal with rejection & demanding customers
• Willingness to learn annd develop

• Knowledge of car parts and MAM system would be preferential but not essential as full training will be provided
