Job summary

GMP Recruitment Agency Limited is seeking a proactive Sales Advisor in Stourport-on-Severn. You will build relationships with existing customers, handle inquiries by phone and email, and prepare quotations while following up on opportunities.

Full training is provided and commissions are available, with a supportive team and clear career development. The role offers a base salary of £27,150.03 per year plus commission, Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm, with no weekends.

Qualifications

• 12 months' experience in customer service, sales support or administration.
• Confident and friendly telephone manner.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proactive approach to sales and identifying opportunities.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and English.
• Experience in recycling or waste management would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.

Location: Stourport-on-Severn

Salary: £27,150.03 per annum + Commission

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm (40 hours per week)

No weekends!

Looking for a sales role where you can build relationships, develop your skills and be part of a growing business?

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Sales Advisor who enjoys speaking with customers, identifying sales opportunities and delivering excellent customer service.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly, fast-paced team where no two days are the same!

No previous recycling industry experience? No problem! Full training will be provided.

What will you be doing?

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers.
• Handling incoming customer enquiries via telephone and email.
• Preparing quotations and following up on sales opportunities.
• Proactively contacting customers to identify opportunities to upsell and generate new business.
• Supporting outbound sales campaigns and promotional activities.
• Processing customer orders and coordinating collection arrangements.
• Liaising with suppliers and internal teams to ensure excellent service delivery.
• Maintaining accurate customer records and managing your sales pipeline using CRM systems.
• Working towards sales targets while delivering outstanding customer service.

What are we looking for?

• A minimum of 12 months' experience in customer service, sales support or administration.
• A confident and friendly telephone manner.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A proactive approach to sales and identifying new opportunities.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
• The ability to multitask and thrive in a busy environment.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and English.
• Previous experience within recycling or waste management would be advantageous but is not essential.
