Job summary

Jewson in Hawick is seeking a Sales Advisor for a full-time role. You will help customers, learn our product lines, and use our systems to process orders and deliveries. A strong customer-service mindset and teamwork are essential.

You will work Monday to Friday 7:30am–5:00pm, plus alternating Saturdays 08:00–12:00. The role offers a competitive package and benefits as part of the Jewson team.

Responsibilities

• Get to know product lines and services to maximise customer interactions.

• Maintain stock levels with regular stock counts.
• Collaborate with colleagues to identify improvement opportunities.

Details

This is a full-time role working Monday-Friday 7:30am - 5:00pm, and every other Saturday from 08:00-12:00.

What You'll Be Doing

• Get to know our product lines and services in order to make the most of all customer interactions in line with our Jewson values
• Develop great relationships with new and existing customers (both face to face and over the phone), understanding their needs and providing proactive advice and solutions so that you can deliver the best experience possible
• Use our in-house systems to process customer orders and payments, organise delivery times, update customer accounts and keep customers updated throughout their journey
• Keep the branch looking clean and tidy, to make a great first impression on our customers
• Maintain stock levels, carrying out regular stock counts
• Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement
