Jewson, part of STARK Building Materials UK, is seeking a customer-focused Branch Assistant in Glasgow. You will greet customers, understand their needs and process orders with care.

You’ll use our in-house systems to handle orders and payments, organise delivery times, update customer accounts and keep customers updated throughout their journey. The role offers hybrid working options and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused with strong communication skills.
• Willingness to work Monday-Friday with alternate Saturdays.
• Able to use in-house systems for orders and payments.

This is a full-time role working Monday-Friday7:30 -17:00, and every other Saturdayfrom08:00-12:00.

WhatYou'llBe Doing

• Get to know our product lines and servicesin order tomake the most of all customer interactions in line with our Jewson values

• Develop great relationships with new and existing customers (both face to face and over the phone), understanding their needs and providing proactive advice and solutions so that you can deliver the best experience possible

• Use our in-house systems to process customer orders and payments, organise delivery times, update customer accounts and keep customers updated throughout their journey

• Keep the branch looking clean and tidy, to make a great first impression on our customers

• Maintain stock levels, carrying out regular stock counts

• Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement
