Job summary

Jewson Hawick is inviting applications for a Sales Advisor role at our Hawick (TD9 8SL) branch. This full-time position runs Monday–Friday 7:30am–5:00pm, with alternating Saturdays 08:00–12:00, offering a friendly, customer-focused environment where you’ll learn product lines and develop relationships with customers.

You’ll handle orders, payments, deliveries, and after-sales support using our in-house systems, while keeping the branch welcoming and well-stocked.

Responsibilities

• Get to know our product lines and services to maximise customer interactions in line with Jewson values.
• Develop great relationships with new and existing customers (face to face and on the phone), understand their needs and provide proactive advice and solutions.
• Use in-house systems to process orders and payments, organise delivery times, update customer accounts and keep customers updated throughout their journey.
• Keep the branch looking clean and tidy, making a great first impression on customers.
• Maintain stock levels, carry out regular stock counts.
• Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement.

Details

This is a full-time role working Monday-Friday 7:30am - 5:00pm, and every other Saturday from 08:00-12:00.

What You'll Be Doing

• Get to know our product lines and services in order to make the most of all customer interactions in line with our Jewson values
• Develop great relationships with new and existing customers (both face to face and over the phone), understanding their needs and providing proactive advice and solutions so that you can deliver the best experience possible
