Job summary

Jewson, part of STARK Building Materials UK, is looking for a Sales Advisor for the Busby branch. The role is full-time, Mon-Fri 7:30-17:00 and every other Sat 08:00-12:00, with opportunities to build strong customer relationships and advise on products.

You will process orders, manage deliveries, and keep accounts updated while helping maintain a welcoming branch environment and supporting stock control.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing sales and service.
• Ability to build relationships with new and existing customers.
• Comfortable processing orders and payments using in-house systems.

Responsibilities

• Get to know product lines to maximise customer interactions in line with values.
• Develop relationships with new and existing customers face-to-face and by phone.
• Use our in-house systems to process orders, organise delivery times and update accounts.
• Keep the branch clean and tidy to make a great first impression.
• Maintain stock levels with regular stock counts.
• Collaborate with colleagues to identify improvements.

Details

This is a full-time role working Monday-Friday 7:30am - 17:00pm, and every other Saturday from 08:00am-12:00pm.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Get to know our product lines and services in order to make the most of all customer interactions in line with our Jewson values

• Develop great relationships with new and existing customers (both face to face and over the phone), understanding their needs and providing proactive advice and solutions so that you can deliver the best experience possible

• Use our in-house systems to process customer orders and payments, organise delivery times, update customer accounts and keep customers updated throughout their journey

• Keep the branch looking clean and tidy, to make a great first impression on our customers

• Maintain stock levels,carrying out regular stock counts

• Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement
