Job summary

Jewson, part of Stark UK, is seeking a Senior Sales Adviser for our Winchester branch. You’ll join a supportive team and help customers with product knowledge and service.

This role welcomes candidates from other industries; the team values decency, passion, and pride. You’ll develop relationships, process orders, and contribute to a welcoming, well-run branch.

Responsibilities

• Understand product lines to maximise customer interactions in line with Jewson values.
• Build relationships with new and existing customers, offering proactive advice.
• Process orders and payments, organise deliveries, update accounts, and keep customers informed.
• Maintain a welcoming branch appearance to create a strong first impression.
• Monitor stock levels and perform regular stock counts.
• Collaborate with colleagues to identify and implement improvements.

Jewson are looking for a talented Senior Sales Adviser to join the successful, supportive team at their Winchester branch. We are open to candidates from other industries and sectors.

What You'll Be Doing

• Get to know our product lines and services in order to make the most of all customer interactions in line with our Jewson values
• Develop great relationships with new and existing customers (both face to face and over the phone), understanding their needs and providing proactive advice and solutions so that you can deliver the best experience possible
• Use our in-house systems to process customer orders and payments, organise delivery times, update customer accounts and keep customers updated throughout their journey
• Keep the branch looking clean and tidy, to make a great first impression on our customers
• Maintain stock levels, carrying out regular stock counts
• Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement
