Job summary

Jewson’s Busby branch is hiring a Sales Advisor. This full-time role runs Monday to Friday 7:30am–5:00pm, plus alternate Saturdays 8:00am–12:00pm, offering opportunities to develop customer relationships and provide proactive product guidance. You will process orders, manage deliveries, and maintain service standards across the branch.

Responsibilities

• Get to know our product lines and services to maximise customer interactions.
• Develop relationships with new and existing customers, face-to-face and over the phone, understanding needs and offering proactive advice.
• Use in-house systems to process orders and payments, arrange delivery, update accounts and keep customers informed.
• Keep the branch neat to create a strong first impression for customers.
• Maintain stock levels with regular stock counts.
• Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement.

Details

This is a full-time role working Monday-Friday 7:30am - 17:00pm, and every other Saturday from 08:00am-12:00pm.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Get to know our product lines and services in order to make the most of all customer interactions in line with our Jewson values
• Develop great relationships with new and existing customers (both face to face and over the phone), understanding their needs and providing proactive advice and solutions so that you can deliver the best experience possible
• Use our in-house systems to process customer orders and payments, organise delivery times, update customer accounts and keep customers updated throughout their journey
• Keep the branch looking clean and tidy, to make a great first impression on our customers
• Maintain stock levels, carrying out regular stock counts
• Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement
