Job summary

Jewson in Northam, part of Stark UK, is seeking a customer-focused branch team member to join our full-time staff. You will engage with customers, advise on products, process orders and deliveries, and help maintain an inviting store environment.

Responsibilities

• Get to know our product lines to enhance customer interactions.
• Develop relationships with new and existing customers face-to-face and by phone.
• Process orders and payments using in-house systems.
• Coordinate deliveries and update customer accounts.
• Maintain clean, welcoming branch environment.
• Monitor stock levels and perform regular stock counts.
• Collaborate with colleagues to identify improvement opportunities.
• Assist with general administrative duties.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Get to know our product lines and services in order to make the most of all customer interactions in line with our Jewson values
• Develop great relationships with new and existing customers (both face to face and over the phone), understanding their needs and providing proactive advice and solutions so that you can deliver the best experience possible
• Use our in-house systems to process customer orders and payments, organise delivery times, update customer accounts and keep customers updated throughout their journey
• Keep the branch looking clean and tidy, to make a great first impression on our customers
• Maintain stock levels, carrying out regular stock counts
• Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement
• General administration duties as and when needed

Working Hours

This is a full-time role working Monday-Friday 07:30-1700, and every other Saturday from 08:00-12:00
