Job summary

Jewson, part of STARK Building Materials UK, is seeking a Sales Advisor to join the branch team. This role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, advising on products, and building lasting relationships with trade and retail customers.

You will work 7:30-17:00, Monday to Friday, with every other Saturday 08:00-12:00, and support stock, merchandising, and process orders efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Delivering outstanding service to trade and retail customers, both face‑to‑face and over the phone.
• Building strong customer relationships by understanding customer needs and recommending the right products and solutions.

• Processing customer orders accurately and ensuring they are fulfilled efficiently.
• Developing new customer accounts while maintaining existing and lapsed customer relationships.

• Following company policies and procedures, with a strong focus on health and safety.

At Jewson, part of STARK Building Materials UK, we are looking for a Sales Advisor to join our friendly branch team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, providing expert advice, and helping customers find the right solutions for their projects.

Whether you have experience in a builders’ merchant or come from a retail, trade, customer service or sales background, we would love to hear from you.

This is a full‑time role working Monday-Friday 7:30-1700, and every other Saturday from 08:00-12:00.

What You’ll Be Doing

Experience within a builders’ merchant or knowledge of building materials would be an advantage, but it is not essential. If you have the right attitude and a passion for customer service, we will provide the training and support you need to succeed.
