Lift Tamworth invites aspiring teachers to join our Computing Teacher Training Programme, delivered in partnership with Ark Teacher Training. The salaried route lets you earn while you train toward a PGCE and QTS, with practical classroom experience and dedicated mentoring.

You’ll spend a year in a school-based programme across our network, with two-week Summer School, weekly training, and a clear path to the Early Career Framework as you develop teaching confidence.

Qualifications

• Degree with 2:2 classification or higher by the start of the programme; computing degree preferred.
• GCSE English and Maths at grade 4/C or above or equivalent.
• Right to live and work in the UK for the duration of the training year.
• Must not currently hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Education

Degree: 2:2 or above by start of programme

Degree in Computing preferred

Strong A-level in Computing considered

GCSE English & Maths grade 4/C or above
