Job summary

Wyre Forest Health Partnership invites applications for a salaried GP at Stourport Medical Centre on a maternity cover basis. The role offers a supportive multidisciplinary team, flexible working opportunities, and opportunities for teaching and leadership development.

We provide six weeks of annual leave plus bank holidays, one week of paid study leave annually, laptop provision, and indemnity cover via MDU.

Qualifications

• Evidence of continuous development.
• Experience of working within Primary Care.
• Working independently.
• Auditing practices compliance against NICE technology assessment guidance.
• Previous experience in Primary Care/GP practice role.
• Demonstrated commitment to quality, patient safety and patient experience.
• Experience of effective partnership and working with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centred care within a well-supported clinical environment.
• Deliver excellent General Practice.
• Support portfolio careers, including teaching, research and leadership.
• Participate in structured induction, regular educational meetings and clinical supervision.
• Contribute to service development and quality improvement.
