Job summary

Bewdley Medical Centre, part of Wyre Forest Health Partnership, seeks a salaried GP to provide patient-centred general practice care across a multidisciplinary team. The role involves up to six sessions with routine clinics capped at 15 patient contacts and visiting home visits by a nurse-led team when appropriate.

The post suits both newly qualified and experienced GPs, with induction tailored to experience and routes into teaching, leadership or portfolio careers. GMC registration is required.

Qualifications

• Professional qualification and evidence of continuing development.
• GMC registration.
• Experience in Primary Care and ability to work independently; auditing NICE guidance compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centred General Practice care in a well-supported clinical environment.
• Run routine sessions capped at 15 patient contacts.
• Carry out GP home visits by clinical exception within protected visiting slots.
• Work with a multidisciplinary team including pharmacists, first contact physiotherapists and care coordinators.
