ADM is seeking a Health & Safety Manager in the United Kingdom to work with the Plant Manager and Site Leadership Team. The role focuses on strengthening safety culture, reducing risk and ensuring compliance with UK legislation and ADM Health & Safety Standards.

You will lead the site’s safety management system, drive risk assessment processes, investigate incidents, and develop a learning-focused safety culture across the team with strong leadership and engagement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Safety Management, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• A recognised health and safety qualification (e.g. NEBOSH Level 6 National Diploma or equivalent).
• Experience implementing, auditing and maintaining health and safety management systems such as ISO 45001.

Responsabilités

• Lead and continually improve the site’s occupational health and safety management system in line with UK legislation, ISO 45001 and ADM standards.
• Coordinate risk assessments, method statements, workplace inspections and compliance checks; ensure permit-to-work systems and contractor safety are robust.
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis to drive learning, prevention and continuous improvement.
• Coach managers and supervisors to strengthen safety leadership and operational ownership; support safety training and engagement initiatives.
• Track health and safety KPIs, manage corrective actions and support process safety activities and audits.
