Job summary

Assured Safety Recruitment is seeking an experienced Health, Safety and Environmental Manager to lead, monitor, and enhance the company’s HSE systems on a production site across the UK. You will ensure ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 compliance, develop policies, provide training, and advise management on legislation.

This role requires a proactive leader capable of driving improvements and maintaining regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Experience managing Health and Safety within a production site.
• Experience working with relevant management systems (ISO 14001/45001).
• Knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation.

Responsibilities

• Review environmental and health & safety systems and recommend improvements.
• Create and implement policies across head office and satellite sites.
• Assess training needs and ensure personnel are trained in environmental and health & safety matters.
• Ensure knowledge of new and existing health, safety & environmental legislation.
• Manage accident reporting and corrective actions.
• Organise ISO Management Reviews with the quality department.
