Job summary

ADM UK is seeking a Senior HSE Manager (COMAH) to lead HSE, process safety and fire protection on a COMAH designated oilseeds processing site. You will ensure compliance with local and corporate standards while coordinating with regional/global technology centers and external authorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Safety Management, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
• Extensive expertise in Health & Safety, Environmental and Process Safety in a complex industrial environment.
• Strong COMAH/Seveso regulatory knowledge, explosion safety, risk assessments (HAZOP/LOPA) and ISO management systems.
• Proven leadership in high-hazard manufacturing with COMAH compliance experience.
• Strategic thinker with analytical and communication skills, able to translate risk into action.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the site HSE, Process Safety and Fire Protection team with strategic direction and operational oversight.
• Champion a proactive safety culture focused on Major Accident Hazard prevention and risk reduction.
• Use data and investigations to drive continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.
• Lead risk management processes (HAZOP, LOPA, MOC, PSSR) and represent the site with authorities.
• Collaborate with engineering/operations to deliver changes safely and align with ADM standards.
