Assured Safety Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Health, Safety and Environmental Manager to monitor and manage the environmental and HSE systems across the company, ensuring compliance with current legislation and ISO standards.

The role involves creating and implementing new policies, training requirements, audits, and annual management reviews in conjunction with the quality department, while identifying wellbeing initiatives and ensuring robust reporting.

Formación

• Experienced managing Health and Safety within a production site.
• Experience working with relevant management systems (ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
• Ability to review, implement and improve HSE policies and procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Review environmental and health & safety systems and provide recommendations.
• Create and implement new policies across head office and satellite sites.
• Assess training requirements and ensure staff are trained in HSE matters.
• Ensure knowledge of current HSE legislation and compliance.
• Highlight gaps in compliance and advise on implications of new legislation.
• Manage accident reporting and ensure corrective actions are recorded.
• Prepare annual management reports and ISO management reviews with QA.
• Identify and implement health and wellbeing initiatives.
• Carry out site audits (internal and field) and liaise with customers.
• Represent the company on HSE matters to external parties.
• Oversee site fire safety and risk assessment compliance.
• Ensure occupational health surveillance is carried out as required.
• Maintain driver license checks and ensure only authorised drivers operate company business.
• Arrange workplace air and noise monitoring.
• Identify budget requirements to meet policy needs.
