Job summary

Abri is seeking a Safer Homes Administrator to join our team and support essential electrical and gas safety compliance work.

This fixed-term role is based at our Yeovil office (BA22 8WN) for up to 12 months, five days a week, Monday to Friday. You will help customers access safety checks, coordinate appointments, and ensure accurate records to deliver a high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Must enjoy helping people and get the detail right.
• Must be naturally organised and able to juggle priorities.
• Able to communicate with empathy and own queries.
• Experience in housing, compliance or property services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate appointments with customers and contractors to access safety checks.
• Support customers to access essential safety checks and keep things moving.
• Keep accurate records and ensure data is up to date for service delivery.
• Support compliance with safety requirements including Awaab's Law.

This is a fixed-term contract for up to 12 months, based at our Yeovil office (BA22 8WN). You'll work from the office five days a week, Monday - Friday.

This isn't just an administration role.

It's about helping customers access important safety checks, working alongside colleagues and contractors to keep things moving, and making sure the details behind the scenes are right so that every customer receives the service they deserve.

You'll be part of a supportive team focused on electrical and gas safety compliance, as well as helping us meet the requirements of Awaab's Law. Whether you're speaking with a customer who needs reassurance, coordinating appointments, or making sure our records are accurate and up to date, your work will contribute directly to keeping homes safe.

What you'll bring

We're looking for someone who enjoys helping people and takes pride in getting the detail right.

You'll be naturally organised, able to juggle different priorities, and comfortable building positive relationships with customers, contractors and colleagues. You'll know how to communicate with empathy, take ownership of queries, and remain calm when things get busy.

You may already have experience within housing, compliance or property services, but most importantly you'll understand the value of great customer service and be motivated by making a difference.
