The Milton Keynes Academy is seeking a dedicated Safeguarding Officer to ensure every student feels safe, supported and able to thrive. You will work with staff, families and external agencies to achieve the best outcomes for young people, with a strong focus on safeguarding responsibilities and confidential record-keeping.

The ideal candidate will have experience with young people in education or related settings, a solid understanding of safeguarding legislation, and excellent communication

About this Role

Job Title: SafeguardingOfficer

Location:The Milton Keynes Academy

Salary: £31,015- £36,581 per annum (dependent upon experience)

£26,307.22 - £ 31,028.29 perannum (actual, pro-rata)

Contract Type: Permanent (Termtime only plus 2 weeks)

Working Pattern: Monday - Thursday8:00am - 16:00pm & Friday 08:00am - 15:30pm

You will becommitted to ensuring that every student feels safe, supported and able tothrive, while working collaboratively with staff, families and externalagencies to achieve the best outcomes for young people.
