The Milton Keynes Academy is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Mentor to support students with behavioural, social and emotional needs. You will work within our safeguarding-focused team to promote inclusion, resilience and wellbeing, building trust with learners, families and staff.

Ideally you have prior experience with young people in education or pastoral settings, strong communication skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure while safeguarding and promoting positive behaviour.

• Have the confidence to work independently whilst contributing effectively as part of a wider team.

Job Title: Behaviour Support Mentor

Location: The Milton Keynes Academy

Salary: £30,024 - £35,412 (FTE) £26,527.21 - £31,287.69 (Pro Rata)

Contract Type: Permanent, Full time (Term Time Only)

Working Pattern: 37 Hours per week (Monday - Thursday 8am - 4pm and Friday 8am - 3:30pm)

Our team is dedicated to helping young people overcome barriers to learning and achieve positive outcomes. Working across both Ruston and the wider school, we provide consistent, tailored support for students with complex behavioural needs. We are a proactive, flexible, and collaborative team that adapts to the changing needs of our students, creating opportunities for them to develop the skills and confidence needed to succeed.
