East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust is offering a Digital Service Asset and Configuration Management Apprentice role. The post involves coordinating with teams to ensure changes are recorded, maintaining CMDBs, and supporting service desk activities.

The role requires travel to over 130 sites and will start as a trainee with Annex 21 pay, adjusted to meet the National Living Wage. You will liaise with the Digital Service Desk, assist in asset handling, and contribute to audit-ready

Competenze

• Willingness to travel regularly to multiple sites across the Trust area.
• Basic IT proficiency and logical problem-solving abilities.

Mansioni

• Trust-wide image, configure and deploy IT hardware.
• Wipe, decommission and arrange secure disposal of equipment.
• Maintain databases, CMDB and IT asset systems (ITSM/ESM).
• Manage local stock and support audit readiness.
• Monitor stock reports and replenish as required.
• Update CMDB records to ensure accurate asset data.
• Assist in user hardware onboarding and offboarding, including travel to user sites.
