Job summary

Surge45 is seeking a Conversion & Experimentation Manager to own conversion performance across client websites, landing pages, and onboarding flows. This 12-month remote (UK) contract role focuses on SaaS buying journeys, demo bookings, and free-trial activations, delivering uplift through hypothesis-driven experimentation.

You will run A/B and multivariate tests, analyse results, and collaborate with marketing and product teams to implement insights and optimizations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in CRO, digital experimentation, or UX analytics with ownership of an experimentation programme.
• Hands-on experience running A/B tests in VWO, Optimizely, or similar, ideally on SaaS marketing sites or product signup flows.
• Strong understanding of statistical significance, sample sizes, and test validity.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive conversion audits on client websites and product signup flows.
• Develop experimentation roadmaps prioritised by impact, confidence, and effort.
• Design, set up, and analyse A/B and multivariate tests using experimentation platforms.
• Use session recordings, heatmaps, and user behaviour analytics to surface friction points.
• Collaborate with paid media and SEO teams to optimise post-click landing page experiences.
• Specify GA4 funnels, event tracking and conversion goals for the client’s team to implement.
• Produce test result reports with clear statistical significance analysis and recommendations.
• Develop insight-driven copy, layout, and UX recommendations for developers and designers.
• Present CRO roadmaps and test results to client stakeholders.
