Job summary

Hastings Direct is seeking an experienced optimisations specialist to lead experimentation and drive conversion-focused digital strategies. You will own the end-to-end experimentation process, maintain the optimisation roadmap and collaborate with stakeholders to turn insights into action.

The role requires a strong track record in high-volume ecommerce, proficiency with data tools like PowerBI and Snowflake, and hands-on AB testing experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in optimisation and experimentation with a track record of commercial success in a high-volume ecommerce business.
• Experience with data platforms such as PowerBI and Snowflake and understanding of commercial performance.
• Data-driven digital/digital marketing professional focused on evaluating qualitative and quantitative data to drive conversions and online experiences.
• Ability to apply user testing, research and web analytics to optimisation processes.
• Hands-on experience with AB testing platforms (Monetate, Optimizely) including client-side testing; server-side testing is a plus.
• Experience in UX design and website content.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery in experimentation, including prioritisation, managing the Optimisation Roadmap, requirements gathering, test briefing & sign-off with stakeholders, measurement and recommendations.
• Maintain the Optimisation Roadmap and track activity, hypotheses, outcomes and apply learnings across the organisation.
• Conduct regular competitor analysis and insights, stay updated with industry best practices.
• Drive continuous process improvement across insight-driven ideation, prioritisation, UX execution, robust build and QA processes, reporting and communications.
• Support development and delivery of new propositions and MVPs to the customer base.
