Job summary

Howden in Scotland is seeking a Rural Sales Executive to handle inbound enquiries and broker insurance products for rural clients. You will signpost to the right teams, onboard new customers and drive sales in a compliant, client‑centric manner.

You should have Maths and English GCSE and be working towards or hold Cert CII, with 1–2 years in insurance broking or telesales. Strong numeracy, communication and negotiation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Maths and English GCSE or equivalent.
• Working towards or has attained Cert CII.
• Experience in a sales environment, preferably telesales and insurance broking.

Responsibilities

• Follow up inbound enquiries and signpost to the correct team.
• Onboard new rural customers via proactive client engagement.
• Assist in planning insurance programmes for clients' demands and needs.
• Create and maintain comprehensive broking information documents.
• Keep records up to date on Group systems.
• Handle enquiries from clients and agents with transparency.
