Job summary

Cowell Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a Rural Sales Executive to join our Small Farm Team near Perth, Scotland. You will be the first point of contact for agricultural clients, handling inbound inquiries and delivering tailored insurance broking services.

You will onboard new customers, design programs to meet needs, and build strong relationships with clients and agents. A background in insurance broking and 1–2 years in sales is preferred, with a focus on Scottish rural sectors.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years in insurance broking and a sales/telesales background.
• Knowledge of the Scottish rural/agricultural sector is a plus and a willingness to learn.
• GCSE / National 5 Maths & English; working toward or holding Cert CII.

Responsibilities

• Drive Sales & Onboarding: handle inquiries, onboard new rural customers.
• Expert Broking: collect client data and design insurance programs to match needs and complete transactions.
• Build Relationships: foster ties with clients and agents with fairness and transparency.
• Admin & Compliance: produce broking documents and keep systems up to date.
