Carpenters Group is seeking a diligent legal assistant to support MOJ Road Traffic Accident claims, focusing on fast track cases involving bikes and e-scooters. You will work under supervision to progress Part 8 and Part 7 cases, review medical reports, and assist in settlements with a practical, commercial approach.

Qualifications

• Experience handling MOJ Part 8 and Part 7 RTA claims.
• Knowledge of CPR and relevant case law.
• Experience with bike-related claims is beneficial.
• Proficient in case management systems and MS Office.
• Ability to work under supervision and support litigation processes.
• Attention to detail and client service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing a caseload of MOJ (Part 8) and Part 7 cases, supporting high-quality claims handling.
• Aid in liability and quantum assessment, review medical reports, draft schedules, and evaluate compensation.
• Support litigation strategies and settlements while contributing to targets and fee income.
• Liaise with medical agencies, insurers, experts, and Barristers; attend hearings when required.
• Progress cases efficiently in line with internal policies and business needs.
