Job summary

Carpenters Group is seeking a Paralegal/Legal Advisor to support the management of MOJ road traffic accident claims. You will work under supervision on cases involving motorbikes, mopeds and e-scooters, assisting in liability and quantum assessment and progressing litigation where advantageous.

The role requires familiarity with CPR and case law, with strong attention to detail. A hybrid working model and extensive training and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience handling bike-related (RTA) claims.
• Non-qualified legal advisor or paralegal accepted.
• Solid knowledge of CPR, legislation and case law.
• Proficient in case management and MS Office.
• Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills.
• Ability to progress cases with litigation support.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing MOJ Part 8 and Part 7 cases with supervision.
• Assess liability and quantum; review medical reports; draft schedules.
• Support settlements and client advice on litigation risks.
• Liaise with medical agencies, insurers, and Barristers as needed.
• Attend court hearings to support representation.
• Perform additional duties as required.
