Job summary

Carpenters Group is seeking legal advisors experienced in managing high-volume RTA Fast Track Personal Injury claims with a focus on robust claims handling, client outcomes and fee generation. The role involves assisting litigation processes, using case management systems, and coordinating with medical agencies, insurers and other parties to progress cases efficiently.

Qualifications

• Experienced legal advisor with strong knowledge of road traffic accident (RTA) claims handling and full litigation process.
• Solid understanding of CPR, legislation and relevant case law.
• Proficient in using case management systems and MS Office.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Focused on delivering quality service to clients and the firm.

Responsibilities

• Pro-actively assist in progressing a high-volume caseload of Fast Track Personal Injury RTA claims in line with internal procedures.
• Aid in litigation processes to help generate fee income and support business success.
• Assist with case management workflows, identifying when proceedings would be strategically beneficial.
• Liaise promptly with sources, medical agencies, experts, insurers and other parties.
• Support assessment of liability and quantum, reviewing medical reports and drafting schedules of damages.
• Assist with denial of liability and causation arguments where needed.
• Contribute to settlements and cost-risk advice while supporting performance targets.
• Undertake additional tasks as reasonably required by the business.
