NHS Highland invites applications for a Facilities Assistant based at Portree Hospital on Skye. This 20-hour per week post supports the Catering, Laundry and Domestic services, delivering high standards of service and cleanliness in line with infection control policies.

You will work on a Domestic rota with weekend coverage if required, and receive a comprehensive induction. The post offers a competitive hourly rate of £14.22 with an attractive weekend differential.

Responsabilités

• Meet cleaning schedules and promote high standards of cleanliness within the environment.
• Catering duties include regeneration of meals and preparation of salads, sandwiches and snacks.
• Work part-time on a Domestic rota and cover weekends if required.

Facilities Assistant, 20hr Hour Post Based At Portree Hospital Skye We are currently seeking to recruit Facilities Assistant to join our team in Portree Hospital.

This post will be based in Portree Hospital Skye. The successful applicant’s role shall be to provide services to the Catering, Laundry and Domestic services.

The successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring high standards of service and cleanliness are maintained in line with local infection control policies, Covid 19 guidance and maintaining compliance with the NHS Scotland National Cleaning Services Specification, and Waste Regulations. To meet specified cleaning schedules, and promote and maintain high standards of cleanliness within the environment.

Catering duties include regeneration of meals and preparation of salads, sandwiches and snacks. To meet specified Laundry Services to the standard of NHS Scotland National Cleaning Services Specifications.

This is a Part time post to be available to work on a Domestic rota and to cover weekends if required.

We offer a full comprehensive induction and training package. Rate of pay from £14.22 an hour with an attractive weekend working rate.
