Job summary

NHS Highland offers a part-time domestic services cleaner role at Ross Memorial Hospital. Duties include cleaning within wards, clinics and treatment rooms, offices and public areas to ensure Infection Prevention & Control standards are met.

Uniform and PPE are supplied, with access to the workplace pension scheme and generous holiday entitlement. Flexible working may be available; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Experience desirable; full training provided.
• Flexible, committed and positive attitude.
• Must meet the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland.

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic professional to join the team of domestics within Ross Memorial Hospital Domestic Services Department.

Duties include cleaning within wards, clinics and treatment rooms, offices and public areas to ensure compliance with Infection Prevention & Control.

The hours for this post are 16hrs per week to be worked Monday Thursday 1645-2000 & 1700-2000 on Friday.

Previous experience desirable although full training will be provided for the successful candidate.

You will need to be flexible, committed and have a positive attitude to your work.

You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.

This role does not meet the eligibility criteria for a Skilled Worker visa or a Health and Care Worker visa. NHS Highland is unable to provide candidates with a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) for this role.
