Job summary

NHS Highland is seeking a Band 2 Domestic Assistant to join the Domestic Services team at Nairn Hospital. You will perform cleaning duties across wards, clinics, treatment rooms, offices and public areas to support infection prevention and control.

Uniform, PPE, and access to the workplace pension are provided, with flexible working options discussed at interview. The role requires a flexible, committed, and positive attitude, with full training provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience desirable; full training will be provided.
• Must achieve mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic professional to join the team of domestics within Nairn Hospital Domestic Services Department.

Duties include cleaning within wards, clinics and treatment rooms, offices and public areas to ensure compliance with Infection Prevention & Control.

Band 2 Domestic Assistant

The hours for this post are 15hrs per week Monday to Friday 5pm - 8pm.

Previous experience desirable although full training will be provided for the successful candidate.

You will need to be flexible, committed and have a positive attitude to your work.

You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
