Job summary

AO is seeking a highly organised Route Planner to join its Premium Installations team in the UK. You will plan and optimise routes across Gas and Electric fleets, manage route changes and capacity, and support escalations to keep the installation network running smoothly.

This full-time role involves 4 on 4 off shifts (4 on 4 off, 6am–6pm) and a 40.25-hour week, using Paragon and Excel among other tools to maximise efficiency and customer service.

Qualifications

• Preferred experience in route planning, scheduling and geographical analysis.
• Strong understanding of capacity planning and resource allocation.
• Experience in fast-paced logistics, transport or field service environments.
• Good IT skills, including Excel and scheduling/web-based platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage escalations and special requests with Installation teams.

Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing

• Plan, optimise and schedule the final premium installation plan for Gas and Electric fleets
• Manage escalations and special requests with Installation teams.

• Review and approve final routing plans, ensuring all legal, operational and business constraints are met

*Monitor regional capacity and adjust plans to meet changing demands

*Collaborate with operational teams to maintain delivery performance and minimise service disruption
