Drink and Drugs News is seeking a Rough Sleeper Recovery Worker in Canterbury to support adults 18+ experiencing homelessness and substance issues. You will work with outreach teams in a multi-agency setting to provide specialist, person-centred support and help individuals access treatment and broader services.

Qualificações

• Experience working with people experiencing homelessness and complex needs.
• Experience with substance misuse and engaging individuals facing barriers.
• Ability to provide intensive, tailored support and manage a small caseload.

Responsabilidades

• Provide specialist, person-centred support to individuals sleeping rough or at risk of homelessness.
• Help people move into suitable accommodation and prevent street homelessness where possible.
• Build trusting relationships and help access treatment, healthcare and wider support for individuals with complex challenges.
• Manage a small caseload of individuals with the most complex needs, delivering intensive, tailored support to engage with services and work towards recovery.
• Deliver harm-reduction and abstinence-based interventions reflecting each person's circumstances, needs and goals.
