Job summary

Lidl UK is offering a 23-month rotational Retail Manager programme designed to build leadership across Stores, Warehouses and Supply Chain. Start as a trainee and rotate through Sales, Logistics and regional operations to gain exposure and develop business acumen.

Year two narrows to a specialist path in Store, Warehouse, or Supply Chain Management, followed by a fast-track progression into leadership. The intake includes a video interview and an assessment centre at the Regional Distribution

Qualifications

• Achieved a 2:2 or higher in a Bachelor's Degree.
• Eligible to work in the UK on a full-time basis and able to provide proof when required.
• Willingness to travel regularly to stores and live within a commutable distance from your chosen Regional Distribution Centre.
• A full UK driving licence by 1st February 2027.
• Assertiveness and confidence in your communication skills, enabling you to build strong and valuable relationships.
• A proactive, hands-on mindset with a strong desire to understand core operational processes.
• Enthusiasm to learn, develop and succeed in a fast-moving, challenging environment
• Able to attend the assessment day on 05/01/2027.

Responsibilities

• Year 1: Rotate across core areas—Sales, Logistics and Supply Chain to gain hands-on experience and career exposure.
• Year 2: Choose a specialist route in Store, Warehouse, or Supply Chain Management and deepen leadership skills.
• This programme includes a video interview and in-person assessment centre at the Regional Distribution Centre on 05/01/2027.
• Develop leadership capabilities and resilience to progress toward retail management roles.
