Job summary

Thales in Glasgow offers a 3-year Engineering Development Programme. You will be sponsored by the Leadership team and follow a structured learning path to accelerate growth as an engineer. Expect rotation in Year 3 and exposure to multiple business units.

The programme is suitable for new graduates with a STEM degree and a keen interest in aerospace, defence or digital security, with a 37-hour week and permanent contract.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM subject in Aeronautical/Aerospace, Electrical/Electronic, IT, Mathematics, Physics, Systems Engineering or related fields.
• Candidates at the start of their professional career with limited relevant experience are welcome.
• Bachelor’s degree should be on track or achieved in the stated STEM areas.

Responsibilities

• Engage in a 3-year Graduate Development Programme accredited by the IET, IMechE and RAeS.
• Rotate in Year 3 across UK locations and business units to gain broad engineering exposure.
• Develop core engineering skills and work on new or existing Thales products.
