Job summary

Thales in Belfast is offering a 2027 Systems Engineering Graduate Programme starting 6 September 2027. This is a permanent, full-time role with a 37-hour week and a salary of £34,000 per year.

The 3-year programme may rotate in Year 3 across the country across different business units to experience various engineering lifecycles. It includes a structured learning pathway, sponsorship by the Engineering Leadership team, and accreditation by IET, IMechE and RAeS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM subject (listed in the ad).
• Limited relevant professional experience.
• On track to achieve a bachelor's degree in one of the listed STEM subjects.

Responsibilities

• Complete a 3-year Graduate Development Programme accredited by the IET, IMechE and RAeS.
• Opportunity to rotate in Year 3 or explore an external secondment with Thales partners.
• Participate in core training focusing on transversal skills.
• Develop key engineering skills, knowledge and competencies.
• Work in a set location and domain for the scheme, enabling full understanding of the Engineering Function.
• Work on exciting new and existing products.
• Build a professional network across the organisation.
