Job summary

Trinity Resource Solutions in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced Warehouse, Logistics or Operations Supervisor to lead a night-shift team at Colnbrook. This hands-on role focuses on processing, testing, storing and preparing equipment for the next day’s operations.

You will manage staffing, oversee stock control, coordinate loading/unloading, ensure health and safety, and drive continuous improvement across the night shift.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, logistics, equipment rental or similar environments.
• Proven supervisory or team-lead background.
• Strong organisational and workload prioritisation skills.
• Experience with inventory or warehouse management systems.
• Good IT skills including MS Office and Teams.
• Commitment to Health & Safety and high workplace standards.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to overtime and weekend work when required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the night-shift team.
• Allocate work across technicians and operational staff.
• Lead by example and maintain high professionalism.
• Ensure staffing and training across departments.
• Review competency and training opportunities.
• Coordinate picking, scanning, testing and quality checks.
• Oversee storage and movement of equipment.
• Coordinate loading and unloading of vehicles.
• Manage returned rental equipment.
• Investigate stock discrepancies and shortages.
• Support resolution of system issues.
• Maintain asset control and accurate records.
• Ensure effective shift handovers.
• Support management responsibilities when required.
• Carry out regular Health & Safety inspections.
• Escalate operational or safety concerns appropriately.
• Ensure equipment is handled only by trained staff.
• Support training documentation and competency processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve storage and stock handling.
• Maintain clean, safe working areas.
• Encourage continuous improvement across the night shift.
