Platinum Recruitment Consultancy in Chichester, West Sussex, is seeking an experienced Rooms Division Manager for a college campus environment. The role combines front-of-house leadership with residential services across daytime and overnight shifts, with some night work required.

Responsibilities

• Lead front desk services across daytime, evening and overnight teams (you will be required to work some night shifts)
• Manage staffing, rotas, handovers and service standards
• Oversee accommodation bookings, arrivals, departures and room access
• Line manage and develop team members
• Handle complaints, operational issues and incident escalation
• Work with other departments to coordinate accommodation and campus services
• Maintain accurate records, reports and financial information
• Identify opportunities to improve services and customer experiences

Key Responsibilities as Rooms Division Manager:

• Lead front desk services across daytime, evening and overnight teams (you will be required to work some night shifts)

• Significant experience in front-of-house, hospitality, accommodation or a similar operational setting
• Strong management experience
• Experience managing customer-facing teams across different shifts
• Strong leadership, organisation and decision-making skills
• Confidence handling complaints and unexpected situations
• Excellent communication, IT and administrative skills
• Good numerical skills and attention to detail
• An understanding of confidentiality, health and safety, safeguarding and security
• A relevant qualification or equivalent experience
• Experience in higher education, residential services or a 24-hour operation would be advantageous.
