Job summary

InterContinental London Park Lane is seeking a Room Technician to join our engineering team in Mayfair, with an immediate start. The role involves hands-on maintenance across guest rooms and public areas, using HotSOS to manage tasks and ensure high standards of luxury service.

You will carry out preventative and reactive maintenance, respond to requests promptly, and work closely with the engineering team to keep the hotel running smoothly and guests impressed by every detail.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance or engineering experience within hotels, hospitality, or a customer-focused environment.
• Practical knowledge across general maintenance disciplines such as plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, or basic HVAC.
• A proactive and solutions-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance across guest rooms, corridors, public areas, offices, and back of house spaces.
• Responding efficiently to maintenance requests, including emergency repairs in occupied guest rooms.
• Using the HotSOS system in real time to manage, update, and close tasks accurately.
• Supporting the wider Engineering team with day-to-day repairs and maintenance projects.
• Maintaining Engineering areas in a safe, clean, and organised condition.
• Delivering a seamless luxury guest experience through attention to detail and pride in your work.

We’re looking for a hands-on and proactive Rooms Technician to join or growing Engineering team.

What You’ll Be Doing
