Job summary

Imperial London Hotels is seeking a skilled Shift Engineer / Property Maintenance professional to join our Bloomsbury team. You will oversee daily maintenance tasks, ensuring guest bedrooms are well-maintained and presented immaculately, while upholding safety standards and guest experience.

As part of a dedicated property maintenance team of ten engineers, you will contribute to our growth plans and heritage, with training opportunities and staff benefits.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience in Property Maintenance or similar role.
• A relevant trade qualification or training.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Proactive approach to maintaining high standards of safety and functionality.
• Team player who thrives in a busy environment.
• Experience with maintenance management systems.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance tasks and upkeep of guest bedrooms to immaculate standard.
• Assist in maintaining hotel facilities to ensure safety and high guest satisfaction.

Shift Engineer / Property Maintenance

40 hours a week (5/7 days a week Flexibility is required)

As an essential member of the team, you will be responsible for overseeing various daily maintenance tasks, ensuring that guest bedrooms are well-maintained and consistently presented in immaculate condition.

Essential Skills:

What we’re looking for:

• 2 years experience in Property Maintenance or similar role.
• A relevant trade qualification or training
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Proactive approach to maintaining high standards of safety and functionality.
• Team player who thrives in a busy environment.
• Experience with maintenance management systems.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Desirable Skills (Not Required But a Plus):

• Certifications in Facilities Management, Health & Safety, or related fields.
• Experience with energy management and sustainability initiatives.
• Multi-site management experience.
