Job summary

Soho House is seeking a Room Service Operator to ensure consistent, high‑quality service for guests and rooms. This hands‑on, member‑facing role requires attention to detail, excellent customer service and strong organisation.

Responsibilities include taking orders, upselling offerings, coordinating with kitchen and floor teams, and maintaining service records with warmth and efficiency. Fluency in English and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years’ experience in a busy hospitality venue, ideally from a room service background.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships (internal and external).
• Strong attention to detail and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Take and process all room service orders promptly and accurately.
• Maintain knowledge of all food, drink, and amenity offerings to upsell where appropriate.
• Coordinate delivery times with floor teams for timely service and presentation.
• Follow up on guest requests and feedback to ensure satisfaction and resolution of issues.
• Ensure warm, professional telephone and digital communications.
• Keep room service area, phone system and records organised and up to date.
• Collaborate with kitchen, reception, housekeeping and concierge for smooth communication.
