Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in a busy hospitality venue, ideally room service.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build guest relationships.
• Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
• Proficient computer literacy with Opera, Micros and OpenTable is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Take and process all room service orders promptly and accurately.
• Maintain knowledge of all food, drink, and amenity offerings to confidently guide guest choices and upsell where appropriate.
• Coordinate delivery times with floor teams to ensure timely service and exceptional presentation.
• Follow up on guest requests and feedback to ensure satisfaction and resolution of any issues.
• Ensure all telephone and digital communications are handled in a warm, professional, and efficient manner.
• Keep the room service area, phone system, and service records organised and up to date.
• Work closely with the kitchen, reception, housekeeping, and concierge teams to ensure smooth communication across departments.
• Support the wider F&B team when required and uphold Soho House standards at all times.
