Job summary

Soho House & Co is seeking a Room Service Operator to ensure consistent, high-quality food, beverage and amenities service for guests and rooms. This hands-on, guest-facing role requires attention to detail, superb customer service and strong organisation.

You will take orders, stay informed on all offerings, coordinate delivery with floors, and work closely with kitchen, reception and housekeeping to maintain Soho House standards.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ experience in a busy hospitality venue, ideally room service.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships (internal and external).
• Strong attention to detail and excellent customer service.
• Fluent in English and well-organised.
• Able to work within a diverse team and maintain reliability.
• Computer literacy with Opera, Micros, and OpenTable is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Take and process all room service orders promptly and accurately.
• Maintain knowledge of all food, drink, and amenity offerings to guide guest choices.
• Coordinate delivery times with floor teams to ensure timely service.
• Follow up on guest requests and feedback to ensure satisfaction.
• Ensure communications are warm, professional, and efficient.
• Keep room service area and records organised and up to date.
• Collaborate with kitchen, reception, housekeeping and concierge teams.
