Job summary

Bright Horizons Chineham Park Day Nursery and Preschool is seeking a Room Leader to mentor a team and deliver exceptional early years education for children aged 3 months to 5 years. You will promote safeguarding, health, and safety while building strong partnerships with parents and staff.

The role requires a Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification and prior experience in an Early Years setting, preferably as a Room Leader or Nursery Practitioner.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Previous experience in Early Years settings, ideally as a Room Leader or similar.
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Knowledge of safeguarding, child protection and related legislation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team to deliver high-quality care and education.
• Ensure child welfare, health and safety standards are maintained.
• Build strong partnerships with parents and colleagues to meet each child’s needs.
