Willing Care Recruitment Limited is partnering with a newly opened nursery in the United Kingdom to recruit a Room Leader for the Toddler or Baby Room. You will take ownership of your room, lead a team of practitioners and create routines, learning experiences and a warm, secure environment for children.

The role requires a full Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above), experience in a baby or toddler setting, strong EYFS knowledge, safeguarding expertise and excellent communication with

• Experience in a baby or toddler room.
• Knowledge of the EYFS and child development.
• Ability to lead and motivate a room team.
• Strong safeguarding and child protection understanding.
• Excellent communication with colleagues and families.

Room Leader - Toddler or Baby Room

Up to £34,000 per year | Full Time | All Year Round

A new nursery is a chance to build something special from the beginning - creating the routines, relationships and room culture that children will experience every day.

This beautifully designed new setting blends a modern Early Years environment with a warm, homely atmosphere. Bright and inspiring rooms have been thoughtfully created to encourage creativity, curiosity and connection, with everything from sensory play areas to cosy reading areas giving children different ways to explore, engage and unwind.

Outside, a dedicated playground extends learning into the fresh air, providing space for active play, exploration and discovery while encouraging children to follow their natural curiosity.

As Room Leader, you'll take ownership of your room, supporting your team to bring these spaces to life and creating an environment where children feel secure, confident and excited to learn.

What We're Looking For

• A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification or above
• Previous experience working within a baby or toddler room
• Room Leader, Senior Practitioner or similar experience would be beneficial
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS and child development
• Confidence leading, supporting and motivating a room team
• A creative approach to planning engaging learning experiences
• Good understanding of safeguarding and child protection
• Strong communication skills with colleagues and families
• A nurturing approach that supports each child as an individual
