Willing Recruitment is partnering with a welcoming nursery in the UK to recruit a Baby Room Leader. You’ll guide a busy Baby Room team, balance routines, development needs and high standards of care in a fast-paced setting.

You’ll hold a Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification and experience in a busy nursery Baby Room, with EYFS knowledge, safeguarding, and a warm, hands-on leadership style.

• Room Leader, Deputy Room Leader or senior practitioner experience.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS, early child development and safeguarding.

• Experience managing the demands of a busy Baby Room while maintaining high standards of care.
• Good understanding of babies' individual feeding, sleeping and care routines.
• Ability to remain calm, organised and responsive in a fast-paced environment.
• A warm, nurturing and hands-on approach.

• Lead, motivate and support practitioners to deliver consistent, individualised care.
• Manage daily routines effectively, ensuring every baby's needs are met.
• Create a warm, nurturing and stimulating environment where babies feel safe and secure.
• Plan meaningful experiences around individual interests and developmental stages.
• Support important early milestones, including physical, communication and emotional development.
• Ensure individual feeding, sleeping and personal care routines are followed.
• Maintain accurate observations, assessments and learning records.
• Build trusted relationships with parents and carers, providing regular updates on their child's development.
• Ensure safeguarding, health and safety and nursery procedures are consistently followed.

This Baby Room Leader opportunity offers the chance to take the lead within a welcoming nursery where carefully designed environments, engaging experiences and a child-centred approach help even the youngest children feel safe, settled and confident to explore.

Combining a warm, nurturing atmosphere with bright, modern learning spaces, the nursery provides an environment where babies can develop at their own pace.

The Baby Room is a busy, lively environment, so we're looking for someone who has strong, hands-on experience working with babies and understands how to balance individual routines, developmental needs and high-quality care within a fast-paced setting.

As Room Leader, you'll guide your team to provide responsive, individualised care while ensuring each child's routines, developmental needs and important early milestones are fully supported.

What You'll Need
