Job summary

Willing Care Recruitment Limited is partnering with a nursery in Watford to appoint an experienced Room Leader. The role involves leading a designated room, delivering high-quality EYFS care and education, and guiding a team to deliver outstanding practice.

You will plan engaging learning experiences, support children's development and readiness for school, mentor colleagues, and maintain safeguarding and nursery standards in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Must have experience as a room leader in early years settings.
• DBS check completed or clear; right to work in the UK.
• Commitment to safeguarding and EYFS excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day running of your designated room.
• Deliver high-quality care and education in line with EYFS.
• Plan and implement engaging learning experiences.
• Support children's learning and school readiness.
• Mentor and support colleagues within the room.
• Build positive relationships with children, families and professionals.
• Monitor progress and maintain accurate records.
• Ensure safeguarding and nursery standards are maintained.

Up to £31,200 per annum | 40 Hours per Week

A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Room Leader to join a our client’s nursery that is committed to providing exceptional care and early years education.

• Plan and implement engaging learning experiences
• Support children's learning, development, and school readiness
• Mentor and support colleagues within the room

• Monitor children's progress and maintain accurate records
• Ensure safeguarding, compliance, and nursery standards are consistently maintained
