Room Leader - Baby Room

This Baby Room Leader opportunity offers the chance to take the lead within a welcoming nursery where carefully designed environments, engaging experiences and a child-centred approach help even the youngest children feel safe, settled and confident to explore.

Combining a warm, nurturing atmosphere with bright, modern learning spaces, the nursery provides an environment where babies can develop at their own pace.

The Baby Room is a busy, lively environment, so we're looking for someone who has strong, hands-on experience working with babies and understands how to balance individual routines, developmental needs and high-quality care within a fast-paced setting.

As Room Leader, you'll guide your team to provide responsive, individualised care while ensuring each child's routines, developmental needs and important early milestones are fully supported.

What You'll Need

• Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification – essential
• Previous experience working in a busy nursery Baby Room – essential
• Room Leader, Deputy Room Leader or senior practitioner experience
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS, early child development and safeguarding
• Confidence leading, supporting and organising a room team
• Experience managing the demands of a busy Baby Room while maintaining excellent standards of care
• Good understanding of babies' individual feeding, sleeping and care routines
• Ability to remain calm, organised and responsive in a fast-paced environment
• A warm, nurturing and hands-on approach

Leading the Baby Room
