Job summary

SíSí, a rooftop restaurant in Glasgow, is seeking a confident Restaurant Supervisor to lead shifts, act as Duty Manager and ensure exceptional guest experiences. You will manage floor operations, coach the team, handle guest feedback and maintain service standards across busy services.

The role offers opportunities to take ownership, collaborate with management and grow within a dynamic hospitality concept in a city centre setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in restaurant, bar, hotel or high-volume hospitality environments.
• Experience at Supervisor, Team Leader or Duty Manager level.
• Confident, capable shift leader with ownership of a shift.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and leading restaurant shifts
• Acting as Duty Manager and taking venue responsibility during shifts
• Leading pre-service briefings and ensuring team readiness
• Supporting management in delivering guest experiences
• Maintaining high standards of service, presentation and hospitality
• Managing reservations, table plans and flow of service
• Handling guest feedback and resolving issues professionally
• Supporting the team during busy services and ensuring smooth operations
• Ensuring communication between restaurant, kitchen and bar
• Assisting training and development of team members
• Monitoring service standards and giving feedback
• Completing opening and closing procedures and venue security
• Managing cash and end-of-day procedures when required
• Ensuring health & safety and licensing procedures are followed
• Taking action on operational issues or emergencies
• Supporting wider management for day-to-day venue operations
