Job summary

RML Roofing Contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead roofing refurbishment projects nationwide, typically five to ten live sites at once. The role is hybrid, reporting to the MD, and involves end-to-end ownership from pre-start through handover.

You will manage programme creation, budgets, supply chain, client liaison, and O&M handover, with training provided for surveying systems. A UK driving licence is required and a company vehicle/allowance is provided.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing industrial/commercial roofing refurbishment projects.
• Experience running five to ten concurrent projects.
• Strong commercial awareness with budgets, margins and variations.
• Background in sheeting, cladding and flat-roofing systems.
• Clear communicator with clients, site teams and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Full project lifecycle management of roofing refurbishment projects £25,000+.
• Pre-start meetings, handovers from sales, and programme creation.
• Ownership of RAMS and on-site H&S documentation.
• Cost control and margin management to target margins.
• Management of supply chain and subcontractors; raise and approve orders.
• Client liaison for progress reports, valuations and variations.
• Final project close-out and O&M handover.
• Participation in morning reactive maintenance rota.
• Site surveys and surveying training provided.
